Warranty, Protection & Maintenance
Five year structural warranty, two year ageing warranty (one year for Lighting and Accessories)
By following Fermob’s guidelines for protection and maintenance, customers can ensure their outdoor furniture remains beautiful and functional for years to come, reflecting the brand’s commitment to quality and longevity.
Our collection is made from weather resistant materials. Caring for your product is important to maintain the product’s lifespan.
Careless treatment or misuse can result in damage and may not be covered by our five year structural warranty or two year ageing warranty. These include:
- Damaged, converted or modified furniture.
- Furniture not used as per Fermob’s recommendations. See below links.
- Any damage arising from insufficient care, or from failure to comply with the supplied instructions and advice for receiving, assembling, using, maintaining and storing furniture as per Fermob’s instructions.
- Rings or stains undeclared when unpacking (including stains related to a combination of humidity retention + heat).
- General wear and tear or natural fading of the materials used.
- Corrosion originating from scratches or abrasions that result from general wear and tear and which cannot be removed via standard cleaning and maintenance processes.
- Minor spots of rust under table tops and seats or on bases. These are a natural outcome of the material used and can be treated using the maintenance tools made available to customers by Fermob.
- Corrosion of steel furniture (including stainless steel furniture) as a result of use in a coastal environment.
- Any changes in the visual appearance of wood that are directly linked to ageing. As wood is a living material, the appearance of its surface changes naturally over time.
- Lighting products that have been repaired using components not supplied by Fermob, or without following the instructions provided by Fermob.
- Lighting products that have been used in a way not recommended by Fermob. The exclusion conditions concerning changes in the appearance of the product are the same as those for Fermob furniture (see above).
- Acrylic and PVC textiles are guaranteed against UV damage, abrasion, mould and tearing.
- Reticulate foam fillings are not guaranteed against mould.
Fermob’s structural warranty means that products will remain fit for the purpose for which they were designed. The structural warranty covers all functional aspects of the product such as welding, fasteners, rivets, and folding.
Warranty begins from the original purchase date and is at the manufacturer’s sole discretion. Any claim must be supported by the purchase receipt and photos.
