Earlier this year, The Malaya returned to George Street, relocating to Grosvenor Place, 225 George Street, Sydney CBD. The new venue spans two levels, offering a refined yet vibrant dining experience.
Designed in collaboration with Anouk & Co, the outdoor terrace adds a fresh dimension to the restaurant — creating a true destination dining experience. With its elevated, open-air design, the space blends casual luxury with city energy. As Duan and Isabelle Wong explain, “We might be leaving the water views behind, but we’re gaining something just as special – an outdoor terrace with a rooftop feel.”
This project is a strong example of how Fermob’s outdoor furniture and design philosophy align with the evolving Sydney CBD landscape — where outdoor spaces are valued for their visual identity, durability, and connection to the customers brand heritage and environment.
