Fermob has officially launched its long awaited Flagship store in Sydney.
Under the guidance of Marnie Hammond, with her wealth of experience and alongside the Fermob team, this opening marks a significant milestone in the brand’s global expansion sitting alongside the flagship stores in New York, London and of course Paris.
Situated in the Design Precinct of Danks Street Waterloo, the space will offer a haven where the Fermob’s Joie de Vivre style meets functionality under the Australian Sun.
History of Fermob
Fermob is the French outdoor furniture manufacturer known for its vibrant, durable, and stylish metal furniture.
Founded in 1953: Fermob was established in Thoissey, France, by Fermob’s founder, Edouard Leclerc. In the 1980’s Fermob introduced innovative techniques to treat metal for outdoor use, making their furniture weather-resistant and durable. Throughout the 1990’s and early 2000’s, Fermob collaborated with various designers to create stylish and functional outdoor furniture collections. Their designs often feature bold colours, which became a hallmark of the brand.
Today Fermob is exporting its furniture worldwide. The brand gained recognition for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and design. In recent years, Fermob has continued to innovate in outdoor furniture design and sustainability practices. They emphasize using eco-friendly materials and processes, such as powder coating with low environmental impact.
Today, Fermob is a well-established name in the outdoor furniture industry worldwide, known for its extensive range of chairs, tables, benches, and accessories.
